[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]What do I do if I don’t feel well for my appointment?
We all have days that we wake up and feel not quite right or ill. It is important for you as a client to determine if you have a cold, flu or other illness or if you are feeling the effects of seasonal allergies. Each of these reasons may have significant affects on how you move through your day.
As a healthcare facility, we provide a clean environment for our clients to come for treatments and we take all steps necessary to limit germ sharing between practitioner & client as well as between clients using the facility. If you have a scheduled appointment and find your self in a contagious situation with an illness, please contact us immediately for rescheduling your appointment. If you are experiencing allergies, these are not contagious and your appointment time is firm.
Naturally, we understand that colds & flus have a way of catching us off-guard, however at the first instance that you realize you have caught a “bug”, please consider yourself contagious and you need to reschedule your appointment. For a cold or flu, this contagious period may typically last 3 to 14 days after the appearance begins. If you are uncertain if you are contagious, do not come to your appointment, however you must contact us to let us know.
With respect for your scheduling needs, we ask that you contact us before your appointment to check if you should arrive or not. Please do not arrive to our facility if you have active symptoms (runny nose, sneezing, coughing etc) and please do not wait until the day of your appointment if at all possible for rescheduling.[/vc_column_text][vc_message]For more details on about how long a person may be contagious, this link will take you to an informative article: www.healthline.com[/vc_message][/vc_column][/vc_row]
